About us
HistWear is a mini-enterprise founded by six motivated students from St Peter's College Leuven. Together, we are striving to make the world a better place.
We do this by making shoulder bags from recycled materials. To do this we use old banners that would normally be thrown away as fabric for our products. This allows us to ensure that each product is unique. At the same time we also try to reduce waste by contributing to a circular economy.

Sustainable
Upcycling
When designing and making our bags, we try to go as far as possible in that process of upcycling. The bags themselves are produced from old discarded banners, which would otherwise end up in a landfill. For the shoulder straps, we reuse old car seatbelts and our logo is laser-cut out of broken bicycle tyres. Only the closure of our bags is fastened with new velcro to ensure optimal use for a long time.

We are HistWear, a group of motivated students all with a similar dream of making the world a sustainable place. So to do our bit, we founded HistWear.
