Dreamcoach Ellen Vandenbroucke

Ellen Vandenbroucke from School 2030 helps us realise that ambition to make our idea of upcycling known. In March she took our prototype and idea on circular economy on board in a European exchange project for youth and upcycling in Seville : YMCA - Young Makers as Climate pact Ambassadors.

MAAKbar is a citizen initiative dedicated to combining knowledge, skills and infrastructure to enable more and better repair solutions and achieve a more sustainable economy. Together, their enthusiastic team and our technical director came up with the design and production of our bags.
Fablab Factory Aalst
We make grateful use of the HighTechLab at the Vaartkom in Leuven and the Makerstudio in Aalst where we were helped with the laser cutting our logos into old bicycle tyres.

For the practical implementation of these shoulder bags, we collaborated with a sheltered workshop. Arop gives young people from extraordinair education the opportunity to learn a job in a professional work environment. A very valuable collaboration for us.

Youth opperation Den Tube https://dentube.lampeke.be/
We donate part of our proceeds to a project for young people who did not get as many opportunities as us : Den Tube, a youth house for underprivileged youth in Leuven. Thus coming full circle : a project from, by but also for the youth.
City Leuven
The City of Leuven is helping us with the material for the bags. We use discarded advertising banners, which we pick out ourselves in the city's warehouses.
